A treasure hunt across the public houses of the West Midlands
The Challenge
I was asked by West Midlands-based charity, Pirate Day UK, to design a website for their annual fundraiser. The event is a unique, family-friendly 'pub crawl' and team competition treasure hunt that raises funds for both local and national causes. My challenge was to strike a fine balance: maintaining a professional, high-performance user experience while capturing the high-seas energy of a 'fun day out.' Key features included a seamless team registration system for the day's competition and a dedicated reviews portal to showcase years of community impact.
